Every creative act is open war against The Way It Is. What you are saying when you make something is that the universe is not sufficient, and what it really needs is more you. And it does, actually; it does. Go look outside. You can’t tell me that we are done making the world.

There is not, and never has been, a form of DRM that effectively prevents piracy—but every single form of DRM reduces the value of the product to legitimate subscribers. It’s pretty bizarre to continually punish the only people who aren’t engaged in the behavior you want to stamp out.

Testing this fancypants Spotify Play button. Glad to see this finally happen - it’s an idea I’ve been tossing around for years.

EDIT: Only took me a second after posting to realize the fatal flaw, that is that I have to have Spotify installed and running to listen to anything. Sorry, but this is not how I envision a streaming widget to work.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has a need for Astronaut Candidates to support the International Space Station (ISS) Program and future deep space exploration activities.

Some requirements for the job:

  1. Frequent travel may be required.
  2. Astronaut candidates will be required to pass a swimming test during the first month of training.
  3. Position subject to pre-employment background investigation.
  4. Travel to and from the ISS will be aboard the Russian Soyuz vehicle. Consequently, astronauts must meet the Soyuz size requirements.
